Re: Puget Power change in name and Climate Challenge Program representative

Dear Mr. Mansueti:

Puget Sound Power & Light Company has recently completed a merger with Washington Natural Gas Company. The new name for these combined utilities is Puget Sound Energy, Inc.

The Climate Challenge participation accord between Puget Sound Power & Light Company and the United States Department of Energy, which was executed by Ms. Hazel O'Leary on July 7, 1995, designates Ms. Susan Keith as the representative for Puget Power. Pursuant to paragraph I(d), I am writing to provide timely notice that the new representative for Puget Sound Power & Light Company, now Puget Sound Energy, Inc., is Steven R. Secrist, Director - Environmental Services, P.O. Box 1869, 815 Mercer Street, Seattle, WA 98111.

Please make note of this change and provide me with confirmation of the same at the aforementioned address.
